Whether you're seeking Swedish (relaxation) or deep tissue (pain alleviation), my style is a fusion of several techniques and modalities. Each massage can include Swedish, deep tissue, reflexology, shiatsu, myofascial release and trigger point therapy.

 

  • A 60-minute session is suitable for a general, overall massage and can address a minor problem area.

 

  • A 90-minute massage session is ideal for a general, overall massage with one or two focused areas of attention. *This duration is highly recommended since it allows time for deep, focused work but is also long enough for complete relaxation.

 

Numerous complimentary add-ons are available for regular, full-priced massages: aromatherapy, hot towels, hot pack and warm neck wrap.

Indian Head Massage

An Indian Head Massage, which focuses on the scalp and face, can also be added to a table massage. It supports the nervous system by alleviating stress and increasing oxygen uptake in tissues. It encourages deep relaxation and can help eyestrain and headaches. It boosts hair health, improves concentration by enhancing blood flow, calms the mind, and eases emotional stress. Ayurvedic oil is recommended but optional for the scalp massage.  **Add a 15-minute mini-Indian Head Massage to your Swedish/Deep Tissue/Chair Massage.

 
Active Isolated Stretching

Additional techniques, such as Active Isolated Stretching, provide focused attention to problem areas, such as shoulder and arm issues. The Active Isolated Stretching technique involves the method of holding each stretch for only two seconds utilizing the client's partial strength. This type of stretching is known to improve circulation and increase the elasticity of muscle joints and fascia.
